RARE INTENSE PINK ROUGH DIAMOND ROSE GOLD EARRINGS – 1.44 CT. – HANDCRAFTED DANISH JEWELLERY DESIGN
Two unique and rare "Intense Pink" rough diamonds of high quality, with visible crystal lines and fine small "Trigons." Trigons are tiny triangles that show the direction these rough beauties grew in when created by Mother Nature at least 900 million years ago. All these details contribute to their distinctive character. The diamonds are set in our 14K handcrafted polished rose gold stud earrings with four prongs. There is a beautiful combination between the rose gold and the pink diamonds, creating a strong statement on the earlobe.
With natural rough diamonds, it is completely impossible to find two identical diamonds, but designer and founder of Roughdiamonds.dk, Maya Bjørnsten, always strives to find "sisters" - diamonds that share the same inner fire, shape, color, similar carat weights, and overall expression. This is the beauty and challenge of working with rough diamonds for earrings.
RARE PINK DIAMOND
Natural pink rough diamonds are among Mother Nature's rarest treasures. They get their color from a distortion in their crystal lattice structure after undergoing greater pressure and heat than other diamonds. The Australian Argyle mine has accounted for 90% of all natural pink diamonds, and since the mine closed at the end of 2020, natural pink diamonds are expected to become even rarer and their prices will rise.
